Invite into your heart the Medicine of the Gods and Goddesses
I hope you enjoy this free gift and recipe of preparing Ceremonial Cacao

In gratitude,
Diamaria
Hello beauties!!!
I envision the spirit of Cacao has called you as she did for me many moons ago. I facilitated my first Mother’s Day Cacao Ceremony in May of 2017. I cannot explain exactly how I was called to begin this path. I do feel the frequency within the medicine came into my field as an invitation to explore living with intention, love, playfulness, creativity, and clairvoyance, and connection.
And in January of 2021, I journeyed to Guatemala to connect with the medicine men and women where Cacao has been used for centuries in Ceremony for creating harmony within the community and healing the heart.
Cacao is one of the most healing superfoods on the planet. Its high levels of antioxidants, magnesium, and iron are soothing to your muscles while naturally boosting your serotonin and dopamine levels.
For centuries Medicinal Cacao, also known as Ceremonial Cacao, continues to be used by the ancient Mayans and is referred to as the “food of the shift”. Spiritual awakenings and healings occur when used in Ceremony along with practices such as yoga, meditation, & dance. Cacao continues to be served in Ceremonies by the Mayans in connecting community and healing the heart.
Areas I continue to hold space for when working with this medicine in Ceremony……
*Cultivating Self-Love
*Healing a broken heart
*Healing addictions & Negative thought patterns
*Expanding beyond limitation of creation
*Leaning into the unknown with ease and grace
*Inviting in clarity, confidence, courage, and creativity
*Releasing blockages
*Connection to your divine spirit (clairvoyance)
*Visualization/Manifestation
*Grounding through turbulent energetic shifts
(If inspired to deepen your relationship with Ceremonial Cacao,
schedule a private or small group Ceremony)
Please know, that there is no one way to prepare Cacao. Like cooking, preparing Ceremonial Cacao is an art and you are the artist. Even when you find your perfect recipe, it will always be slightly different as Cacao is energetically sensitive and will reflect the energies during the process of creating and whom it is served to with what intentions. I invite you to enjoy the art of making Ceremonial Cacao and simply show up with an open heart from start to finish.
If you haven’t worked with Cacao before, are calling in a new experience, or looking to deepen your relationship with the medicine, I invite you to first create an energetic connection with the Cacao you’ll be using.
I was recently gifted a powdered Rose Cacao. While I wanted to try it right away, I placed it on my altar adorned with Egyptian Rose Oil, Rose Petals, & Rose Bath Salts. I felt this Cacao was going to be used for something very special. I set it on my altar for about a month until I was given the vision to prepare it in February during Root to Rose, a 28-day online journey I led into Supreme Self-Love.

There are many types and brands of Cacao. With a unique exception of the powdered Rose Cacao (which was a special gift), I use Ceremonial Guatemalan Cacao that comes in a ½ pound or 1-pound disk. I personally prefer disk or block Cacao over powdered. I’ve found through my 5 years of sitting with Cacao that block or disk carries greater medicinal properties as the Cacao is denser while holding the vibration. I wouldn’t recommend over the shelf powdered Cacao you’d find in a grocery store for Ceremonial practices as the refinement process has extracted most of its medicinal properties. Powdered Cacao can however be a great addition
to your superfood smoothies.
Below is a reliable source where I order my Cacao
You’ll find Earth Alchemy and Sacred Paths Yoga under the shop option where you’ll be able to order 1 lb. or ½ pound disks
The process of preparing Cacao, is a Ceremony in itself.
I will first cleanse the space that I’ll be preparing in and removing any items that may not seem energetically aligned. (Keys on the counter, used dishes, mail, bags of chips, etc.) Just as you would set up a sacred space for prayer or meditation, you’re creating an atmosphere to connect with the spirit of Cacao.
1-2 Tablespoons is a great start for a single serving.
You can use water, or any kind of nut milk. Vanilla oat milk is one of my favorites as I like my Cacao a little sweet! You can get fancy and buy raw cashews and blend them with hot water to make your own nut milk.
Using water or unsweetened liquid will allow a deeper bitterness to come through. This is how it’s been prepared for centuries as Ceremonial Cacao has a bitter taste.
For a single serving, bring 8-10 oz of the liquid to just about boiling
(you don’t want the liquid to come to a complete boil as it will lessen the medicinal effect).
Not by much though, so don’t worry too much about that.
As you notice the liquid heating, slowly begin to stir in your Cacao.
I like to add Himalayan salt and raw/ local/ organic honey. You can also try high quality organic maple syrup as a sweetener. For fall flavoring I love to add cinnamon, nutmeg and cayenne pepper. I have also started adding a few droppers of High Vibe Rose Water as Cacao and Rose medicine create a beautiful marriage of energy.

You can set up a sacred space where you can sit with an intention upon drinking it.
Cacao is used for Ceremony purposes and in intentional gatherings to open the heart and connect with whom you are sitting with. I’d love to learn more about you and what has called you to explore the spirit of Cacao!
A few facts about Cacao:
*Cacao is made from the seed of the Cacao fruit, it in itself does not contain nuts. Depending on the source of your cacao however, it may have been processed in a kitchen containing nuts. I recommend doing your research if you have a nut allergy.
*There is a small, but insignificant amount of caffeine that occurs naturally in cacao.
It contains Theobromine, a stimulant similar, but gentler than caffeine. Theobromine has mood boosting properties but you won’t have to worry about feeling nervous or jittery like coffee.
